The Lions Club of Bletchley was formed in1969 by a local chemist named Peter Smith.
Since then it has gone from strength to strength and today has 31 members.
The club holds a business meeting at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of every month, at the Abbey Hill Golf Club. If you would like to visit us, please contact our secretary so that we can make you welcome.
We also have a monthly dinner meeting and our secretary can advise you of cost and venue.
During 2016-17 we have done over 4000 hours of community service.

If you are wondering if volunteering with the Lions might appeal to you, may we suggest you consider the following questions;
* Do you need to utilise spare time, skills, energy ?
* Are you bored ?
* Do you want to put something back into society ?
* Is your social life a bit flat ?
* Do you have skills that could benefit others in our society ?
If the answer is YES to any of the above questions, it sounds as if you should be talking to somebody in our club.
We welcome anyone over the age of 18, either as full members or just as friends who would like to keep contact and volunteer on an ad hoc basis.
