Lions Clubs collect unwanted, or broken, analogue and digital hearing aids and audiological equipment from individuals, audiologists, hearing retail outlets, and hospitals The hearing aids are sent to regional Lions Hearing Aid Recycling Centers, where they are cleaned and refurbished.

One of Bletchley Lions ongoing community service projects is the collection of used spectacles for distribution to third world countries.  Recently we have passed to our fellow Lions at the Lions Club of Chichester more than a 1200 pairs.

 A whole network of Lions clubs participate in collections nationwide and pass them to Chichester.  They have made a special project of this work for many years and now run a highly efficient collection and distribution service.
